Suggest me a good Image hosting site

    Hello all,

I am looking for image hosting where I can upload my pictures ...

Currently I am using photobucket.com and it is very good. However, while uploading the files it always stops abruptly for every few files. Other than that everything else is okay.

Also, I am looking for site which will not change the file name once it is uploaded. Also upload the zip and extract the images would be nice.

I googled but most of the sites are renaming the files once the files are uploaded.

If you know any good image hosting with above requirement please let me know.

    Thanks a lot.

I use the free Coppermine software. Might be what you are looking for but you need a domain and hosting.

I don't want to use my own domain and hosting. That's why I posted here. It is too costly for me to use my own hosting and domain as it will use huge bandwidth.
Thanks. I will give a try.
Yes. I know. However, it renames the file. I want to keep the same file name in my desktop as well as the files in image host.
Thanks. I will give a try.
Yes. I already tried. but it renames the file.:(
That's what I use currently. I am using the new uploader. It stops after few files. So it takes more time for me to find the missing files and reupload it.

Are you using photobucket pro? You can ftp the images to your account if you are.

Wow! Thanks a lot. I will check.

    Currently using free version only.

It costs $3 per month :( Instead of that, I think I can go for cheap linux hosting.

Yes, it does cost. Last time I checked it was $25 per year. The bandwidth they are willing to serve up for that price is pretty good. They say it's unmetered. In reality once you get past a certain level they will take steps to limit your use but until you hit that it's a worry-free solution. No hassles with server resources, etc.

I see they have a freebie offer on at the moment:

Have you tried using Flock browser for your uploads? It has an integrated Photobucket and Flickr uploading gizmo. It's kinda cool. Based on FF. Might save you having those upload issues?
