Thing is, I see bad reviews/comments about EVERYBODY, at least for those inexpensive shared hosting providers like bluehost, hostgator, hostmonster, godaddy, yadda yadda. The shit hits the fan SOMEWHERE along the way with all of them. The best comments I personally have seen, and the least complaints, is hostgator. My own personal experience tells me godaddy and hostgator are quality providers for shared hosting plans.

Like it was suggested, if you want truly great service and support, you're going to pay out the nose for it.

you're right to all those doubting Peterst out there I have nothing better to do then make up some wild story just to get some attention, you cant past your little world that maybe just maybe I got screwed by your precious Hostgator, i'm happy that your happy with Hostgator, "I don't mean to accuse you but " that is accusing me that i'm the one who is wrong, Ford makes millions of cars but every once in a while they produce a lemon is that guy making shit up to, my host suxs even now my site is down I would dearly loved to have hostgator but that cant seem to be the case, i can post all the proof you want regarding my transaction between me and host Hostgator but why should I prove my self to you.

My question was simple suggest me a good other than Hostgator now what is so hard about that

I seem to be getting an 'anger' vibe from you...do I have that right?

Nobody is trying to ram hostgator down your throat, not that anyone could anyway. Several alternatives have been suggested, which should answer your question. Good luck with your new host.

Almost, I was getting annoyed with the people who posted stating something fishy was going on like I screwed up and it s my fault they couldn't believe that their Hostgaotor would do any thing Dubious, maybe somebody there F**cked up and is trying to safe his own ass who knows, I'm sure Hostgator is good but I just happened to have major issues with them.

Thanks to all those who suggested Bluehost I will try them.

I'm not implying that HostGator doesn't make mistakes. As mentioned above, EVERY host provider will make a mistake sooner or later. Doesn't matter if you pay $2 a month or $2,000 a month. Unless God is your provider, expect there to be issues.

What I am saying, is that it's foolish to call HostGator out as a scam, when thousands of people have had the best experience with them, out of hundreds of providers.

I guarantee if you call their support, and provide proof that you paid, they will not only take care of the problem immediately, but will probably throw in a discount as well.

That's a good point; you might be able to get a discount or free features out of this.

Have you called them yet? If you're in the US, I would take the 10-15 mins it would take to sort it out, before you switch to someone else.

This independent review site has all the information anyone can want on this subject. (Blurstorm are apparently top-rated at the moment with an overal 9.92 out of 10.)

I've being using LaceHost.Com for around 6 months now, never had a problem with them and they always answer any questions I have within 24 hours.

Also, I think its owned by a member off here.

I have used several hosts over the years including Hostgator. I have been with LiquidWeb for sometime now on a VPS plan and I could not be happier! I have not used their shared hosting, so I could not give you any info regarding that aspect.

Their customer service is the fastest that I have encountered and very helpful as well.

    Just my two cents!
