Getresponse is my recommendation. I’ve heard good things about it, and the best thing is that it’s free for the first 100 subscribers as well. If you have information about best tools, please tell me, thanks

I use Mailchimp for the following reasons: Its free up to 1000 subcribers, 6000 send p/mo, it has good tracking, it has a nice easy to use interface and it links nicely with Wordpress.

I would say Aweber is the best. But it depends how big your list is going to be and how frequently you plan on sending emails.
Some people (with smaller lists) are more comfortable with an option like Vertical Response (or MailChimp) because you can choose to pay-as-you-go.

It really depends on what you are going to do with the list, how big the list is, and how much you want to spend. If you can afford it then Aweber is the best, unless one of the ways you are going to get subscribers is through coregistration. Getresponse allows coregistration leads if you use their service where you can buy them directly. If you are looking for a free alternative then listwire is a good option as it is free no matter how big your list gets, and mailchimp as mentioned before is free for the first 1000 subscribers.

never had an issue with ConstantContact.com... used it for an offline business before I started with all of this so I was comfortable with it

I use listwire. It is a 100% FREE autoresponder service with surprisingly all the features of the most expensive and top-of-the-range autoresponders.

    Hi,
I would definitely recommend Aweber if you are serious about internet marketing. Interesting that nobody mentioned "Infusion Soft" as this is the software used by the really big guys. You have everything integrated with Infusion Soft and do not need to get data from many different software and places which in the end saves you time...

Paid systems are always the best because they have good developers working on them. :)
