Suggest me a final year project topic

    I am doing my masters in computers.I have a 4 month project starting from january.I need some good suggestions for final project topic.Also which environment will be good for project.I know java and .net :)

    I'm sure you need a project with some research value.
    how about a distance measurement system on a recorded video?
    Techniques in pattern recognition and mathematical postulations using angles are involved.

    Routing i IPv6.

    There is no promising one still for IPv6. As it is going to be the future internet era.

    Not sure what guidelines your teacher gave you, but multithreaded clients or server applications are a great way to get a higher grade. Maybe a simple "IRC client" or another type of chat client..

    Choose your domain dude in which subject you are much interested Networking or Data Warehousing or Something you really like and passion to do some research on it.Its not the language matters you can implement the same concept in almost all the languages.You chose your domain now and set your mind to do some hard work on it.See lot of Paper works from IEEE,ACME and few other sites that will help you a lot.
