    Hey,

I was wondering if directory submission is really worth the time and effort?
Most free directories seem spammed out and full of junk...

Is there any good free directories, I could submission a site for online flash games?

    Thanks,

    Aaron

    Good is a relative term.

I just started a free directory last month.

Trying to keep it clean and Free.

You are welcome to submit to Popular List

Only accepting main domain (no sub pages) Must be PR1
Must be submitted to most suitable sub directory

I highlighted the most important word in your post. You get what you pay for. And, in cases where don't pay for anything...well, you're probably not going to get anything. Most free directories are full of spam and not very well-maintained (lots of misplaced listings, porn sites in random categories, etc.). Most free directories also follow the "approve anything" model...or the "not interested in approving anything, I just wanted to harvest your email address" model. Finding a single quality free directory is not an easy task, much less alot of them.

Submit to quality paid directories (if you have any budget at all) and you will be much happier.

I would look for free directories in your niche. Niche directories are more often run by people who care about the niche so you have a higher probability of finding quality directories that are free. There are some good free general directories out there too, but they are a lot harder to find.
