Will any body care to share the simple method to estimate keyword density?

Personally, I just count the number of times my keyword shows up. My count is done while viewing the code, so I can see inside meta tags etc.

Any idea about keyword density tools?

I will go with john, SEO quake makes it really easy to find keyword density for many phrases on the page. You can easily get a word count and calculate it yourself too.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox, than do the following:

Goto: Tools > Addons > Search for "Swoosty SEO Tools" > Install it and restart Mozilla

Checking Keyword Density: Right click on the page you need to check the density of and you'll find "Show Keyword Density. There you can insert the keyword you wish to check the density of.

    Hope this helps.
