    Dear All

Basically I have 3 yrs of experience in VB6.0 and have some knowledge in VB.Net.

I have installed visual studio .Net 2003 in my system.

I am going to learn ASP.Net.Please suggest some good books with the authors name for me to start with. Also please suggest the links and CD's for me who will explain the fundamental concepts of ASP.Net and will budge from Beginning to Intermediate and then Advance ASP.Net Concept and programming in asp.

Also suggest me the books and links which straight away going to programming in asp.net after a brief introduction, since i want to learn the programming syntax and going to develop web sites for an application oriented.

    Regards
    Sasikumar

One book I would recommend you is "Pro ASP.NET 3.5 in C# 2008 , 2nd Edition by Matthew MacDonald and Mario Szpuszta...It is in C# though but you shouldnt' have a problem since both vb.net and C# are similar, in fact you can use online conversion tools to convert your code to either one..

The book includes great examples too, I have the ebook if you want it.
