I am going to start a webhosting directory and I am looking for a free script that is specifically designed at it. What is the best I can get or shall I program it my self? I want it to be searchable and has a nice design. Thank you ASGSOFT
Im afraid things that are free are often not that good You would be best off going for a bought script Having said that I think there is a free directory script included in the Fantastico installer you should already have on your domain - with your hosting If you have a cpanel then you will see fantastics in there somewhere There are also a few SEO type "kits" which include a directory script as part of the links exchange system they use. ZEUS I know uses this and so does the Links Machine - both of these are free downloads I also think you should think first about why you want a directory script If its just for link building etc then I would suggest you first develop good content and write up as many articles as you can to develop link backs This is basically what I do and my adsense earnings and going just fine
