Hi, I would appreciate if you can suggest a reliable website monitoring service. I've already browsed online but it would be great if someone who have used it can also give a brief review. Thanks in advance.
Yes, they do have reports to your email. And if the server downs, you will have options to receive warning through email or sms
I've been used SiteUptime for years. The basic/free account is fine for my needs. The paid ($5 I think) account offers SMS alerts and some other perks, too. Every so often they improve their site and fix some quirks. Sometimes I don't get the "server is up" email alert that should come soon after a "server is down" alert (when the server problem was fixed) -- but, that admittedly could be an email receipt problem.
I'm one of the happy premium user of http://www.siteuptime.com/ whenever my site is down, they will sent me SMS
I use host-tracker.com. They sent mails for web site status changes, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Free as well as paid services are available.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I've tried Pingdom and it is working great. I'll try the other suggestions in awhile too and check on their performance.
