I am setting up a new joomla site and I would like to install an advertising module for Microsoft and Google Adsense plus paid banner advertisments.

Could anyone suggest a good componant, module or plugin?

    Thanks allot.

Thanks. Is it pretty easy to install or does it require manual coding or configuration?

go to user management, click on your user and at editor select no wys... ed

then go to modules and add a module at the banner with your adsense code

    no need for extra install

The right side panel is free module
    Joomlaspan Google AdSense 2.1 Clicksafe

The one inside the content is a bot called Google Adsense Mambot

I like to use Google Adsense Mambot for ads in content and I like the banner component that comes with Joomla! because it rotates them for you. I love it.

I would just start a new module from the module manager and paste in the google code...

Yeah, that part is a pain. There should be a global option to turn off the editor for new modules. I can't think of when I would have used it...

I'm having a little trouble with click safe adsense module. Don't know if it is the module or if it is google.

In the evenings (pacific time), my adsense disappears. Also, with the options in the backend I tried changing the colors but they don't change... this is for when the adsense does appear....

I did submit a question to the creators forum a week ago but no reply yet. I'll go through the code to change the colors.

other then that... it gets the adsense into your joomla site.

Thanks Jaques. I installed that module. I'm currently testing it out to see if it works.
