go for hostgator or bluehost because as providing support to to customer there commom issues has beed already answered in forums and other web review sites. it will be easier to provide support to your customer They are reliable too and major players in web hosting business
I am sorry but I have to disagree with this. Hostgator and bluehost, both are owned by EIG, who has a history of buying hosting companies, and turning them into a mess and milking as much profit as they can by moving to cheaper hardware (i,e Hostgator just moved from Softlayer to their own datacenter). You cannot even compare their own network and Softlayer's. I would recommend that you stay away from the "big guns" like godaddy, hostgator, bluehost, etc. Some good hosts to name are steadfastnetworks, incero, i3d and reliablesite.
What are your demands? Specs and budget will be good to know before suggesting. But as I know Ourinternet.us is offering good dedi deals with skilled support and useful features. Prices are moderate.
Dreamhost, Hostgator are providing dedicated servers. Now Bluehost also started to provide dedicated servers. All the three providers are well known good web hosts.
Cheap dedicated servers are available from redswitches and a2hosting. They have affordable prices and active support. Both companies are trustworthy and decent.
Think that you will not regret a thing if you give Ourinternet.us a try. So far they have been excellent. I've had to contact support a few times and on all occasions my questions was answered very promptly. Hope everything keeps going the same way and I do not have problems like what I've had with some other hosts.
If you're still looking you can take a look at ovh, it's within your budget and provide great servers.
HI, I believe that ChicagoVPS.net will meet your needs. Their servers are powerful and service is top-notch. Never felt bad with them.
wait, what? does this budget include software and licenses? wont you need solusvm? cpanel? softaculous? cloudlinux? Software alone would be around $60+ Can you manage the server yourself and do all security hardening? Its just I dont know if your $100 is only for the server, or meant to include other things that you might need. Additionally, if you do need any of these software, you might be able to find a better packaged deal if you let us know what you need. if you dont need software, or management then: ->I have heard good things about joes datacenter: http://joesdatacenter.com/dedicated-server-packages -> there is softlayer servers available from $119 (not far from your budget) http://www.softlayer.com/dedicated-servers/single-processor-servers (I believe that hostgator WAS using softlayer as its server provider for years) Thing is, the cheapest option is not always the best. It might look cheap at the home page, but once you choose a proper raid, software options, backup storage, the pricing quickly becomes ridiculous. One thing to keep in mind is how fast they can maintain the hardware if there is an issue (the cheaper the dedi, the more issues you have when things go wrong). like one company might guarantee the server to be fixed within xx minutes, while a budget provider might take several hours in order to repair / maintain the server.
