    Hiya,

    The best bet is to blog based on your expertise and/or interest.

    If you blog based on trend or potential, you'll quit blogging after 2 weeks. Trust me :)

    Anyway, if you insist, I'd suggest you to blog on go green topic, as it is hot right now. Also consider making money online topic - lucrative, but plenty of competition.

    blogging about something you don't like will make you hate blogging. you should make a blog about something you like and make it grow like a little baby.

    Suggest me plz! The holy trinity!

    If you want to find out what people are actually purchasing, eBay is an excellent resource. Sign up as an eBay developer and use their API to "FindPopularItems". It's a simple way to discover new niches that you would otherwise be unaware of. But as Nosfer said, blogging about something you're enthusiastic about is a much nicer idea - which is when having weird hobbies really pays off :)

    But I'm guessing you won't bother doing any work yourself... so just make your website about iPhones or running your car on water, or whatever this month's get rich quick scheme is :p

    Havent read a blog on that...and you can monetize from the traffic by promoting some affiliate links as well....

    Blog about something you know well and like. Many people try to find the most popular niche to blog about but if you do not know the subject or do not like the subject you will get bored with it very quickly. I'd say perhaps take a look at your hobbies or things you are passionate about.

    Start a blog about people who are asking for the money making niches. Take screenshots of the stupid idiots on DP that post 100+ times/day without using the search function or bothering to read other threads that cover the exact same topic (hint: read the Marketing forum here...)
