Sugesstions Needed for A Site

I have a wordpress related domain...... Currently undeveloped. I have thought of two options for it.


1. Make it a wordpress theme site
2. Make it a unique site that no one has seen yet.

2. Well, i was thinking of reviewing works of talented wordpress designers on the a wordpress blog. By reviewing i meant in every aspect, css/xhtml content style. Reviewing both wordpress blogs and designs and giving them rating along with buttons such as "Reviewed by X"



What say?

 

It depends on your products.

 

Well this is no real question. Make it a unique site that no one has seen yet.

If you create something that is unique and people truly want to go to for WordPress information you'll have no problems selling theme advertisements later on. A theme site is limited to a single market (Wordpress themes) while a unique Wordpress site can expand in whatever direction you want.

Never box yourself in just because it is easier to do so, go big

 

Ofcourse make it unique. People like the different things. So think different. You have gave only 2 options.

You need to think of how populated we are with wp theme blogs. Now on the other hand if you are able to find 5 or six long tailed unpopulated keywords. You should be able to do really well. Making it a unique site again there is a site for anything and everything. You still need to do the research to find your best possible outcome for a site. Keep in mind as well if you are going to be strickly adsense for your money maker on your site. You need to keep it close to a niche that is populated as well as your keywords need to be high paying keywords. Do as you see fit. Only you can make your own choices to your online business.

 

I think it'd be neat if you searched out and interviewed the owners of the 'best' WordPress blogs you could find I'd go read that.. that and tips on useful plugins, how to guides and that sort of thing would make pretty good content. Even having a site that lets newbies write in questions and you get them answered FAST would be super appealing.
