Hi suddently my website got disappeared from google. I checked its cache, there is no cache... I checked my google webmaster tool its showing no error, last download sitemap on 29th july. None of pages are there in google cache.. I checked my google analytic a/c, traffic suddenly dropped to 0. From 3rd of August i noticed that and till now its has not resolved.. Please suggest...
I had the same problem with a client's site in Yahoo.. his earlier SEO company had made pages with duplicate content, got his blacklisted in yahoo.. d site disappeared off the face of yahoo.. besties wid ur problem..
Yes i have checked my all the pages, there are one or two duplicate lines in the website, will this a problem for goodle.
No... Duplicate content will not get ur site banned, except in EXTREME circumstances. I would suggest checking your outbound links to make sure your not linking to any banned sites. use the keyword section of google webmaster accounts to see what your main keywords are, if vigra etc is there it could have been hacked and linking to loads of viagra sites. The other thing i would check is... Have you got adsense on your page? if so... do you have too much adsense on your page? if google see's it as a made for adsense site, it will give it a serp demotion. Also... is your site new?? oh, and i should have asked, is it totally gone fromgoogle? i.e. is it been de-indexed? or just a serp penalty?
Thanks a lot Buckyuk, I got my mistake which i have done recently. I have inserted adsense code between posts manually. and that is the reason, thanks a lot again. But how to recover from it... Any idea ?
If your domain and website is new and you're not in top 50 pages on your main keyword yet, just wait for a while. You should wait 2 weeks to 2 months. If you do nothing wrong, you will probably get in top 10 pages suddenly
But the question is there ads were still showing on that .? If google bans my website due to too many ads, it would definitely bans ads to be displayed on my website, isn't ?
Check the site through the diagnostic tab at webmaster tools, it can give you some clues about the potential problem your site might be facing.
No, they wont necesarily stop showing ads on your site. If it doesnt break any of the terms and conditions of adsense, i.e. the number of ads on a page, then it willstill show ads. But if it looks like the site has been made just for adsense, they will just impose a serp penalty on those pages. If you remove the ads, it should recover in a few days. Assuming thats what the problem was, butif you haverecently added more ads, then it soundslike that. give it a try,its a temporary serp ban and if you sort it then it should fix itself in a few days
I met this problem before and this is due to one of the following: 1. You have accidentally block the whole site in robots.txt, but this should show as error in Google webmaster tools as "Googlebot cannot accessed your website". Did you see this error? Can you reconfirm. 2. Or in your source code , did you "meta noindex" tag? 3. Did you check the server header status of your homepage? It should show 200 OK status. You may accidentally misconfigured the server or your hosting firm. 4. If the above are OK, then most likely you are suffering some kind of a search engine penalty, so I suggest to check the following: Do you have indexed pages in Google? You can check this by going to www dot google dot com, and then typing in the search box: site:yoursite dot com (sorry use the "." instead of dot, cannot type URLs this time, since I am new here) If none of your pages are indexed. Then you are ban in Google, in this case, you should receive a message from Google webmaster team. Did you receive it in your inbox in the webmaster console? But in case your site has been indexed, you are penalized badly, resulting to massive drop in rankings that accompanies drop in traffic. In this case, someone needs to check your site for search engine penalties, this is where you can consult an SEO. Anyway, we can help you here , just post all your data here and lets help you resolved this. Good luck.
