Suddenly lost rank for 1 keyword

    hi,

    One of my sites just suddenly dropped to page 3 for one of the very important keyword.
    I was on top 2 most of the time before. For others keywords, there is slightly drop too.

    I wonder what could be the cause?

    This happens so don't worry.You may build better backlinks to stay top.

    your ranking may fall for several reasons. site not getting updated for a while, no more fresh backlinks, existing backling (or part of it) being lost, new competitors moving up slowly, etc. hard to say why yours dropped from the info you provided. just make sure you keep building backlinks and it should come back up. also, study your competition and see how they are moving up

    Yes google update there Page Rank there back links and there SERPS I also found some major changes in SERPS

    Google has changed many of things in this update. And it may the result of that update of Google. In this update i just seen that my list of competitors is changed. My ranking is still remains his previous postilion but the list of my competitors is completely changed.

    I was suspect that my competitors did something fishy.

    Such as give me some "free backlinks" from link farm, spam sites to de-value my site.

    Would that be possible.
