Sudden traffic drop after HD crash

    Hi all,
This is my first post in DP. I tend to read more than to write, but I need different points of view:

I few weeks ago I had a HD crash. In this server, I had 2 sites ranging 5000~7000 uv per day. This was a severe hd crush so I couldn't recover completely one site (let's call it A), while the other I had source code well maintained (B from now on). (by the way, don't forget to backup often )

These are the ongoing events after this:

    - Restored the server (4 days offline)
    - Restored an old dev backup of A which was very f***d up, I even forgot a noindex robots.txt in it.
    - Restored B, which took 3 days approx (large amounts of data to be uploaded)
    - I've had a sql backup of A. This site was developed over a phpwcms install, very customized, so restoration was nearly impossible, so I developed A again using an MVC framework. (10~12 days)
    - Uploaded new version of A
    - redirected old urls to new urls using 301 in A
    - made complex redirects for subpages
    - At this point, A is getting 3000 UV/day while B seems to recover old traffic levels
    - Created a sitemap generator to ping G/Y/MSN every time I update A.
    - Revised Google Webmasters tools to check for errors
    - A starts to loose traffic instead of recover (now under 1000 uv/day).

Now I'm completely lost. B is gaining traffic every week, while A is plumbing.
    • The new design of A has all the SEO techniques I've used for the old A design
    • A domain has nearly 5 years old against B (2 years old)
    • A is indexed on Google with 15000 results, more than ever, but keywords that appeared once first in SERPs now don't even appear.

From a SEO point of view, I'm clueless. Now it's 15 days since everything is supposed to be on wheels, and I was expecting to see a recover but it gets worse everyday.

Anyone has any similar experience? word of advice? Any Clue?

    Thank you!
