Hi all, Has anybody have felt significant frop in SERP from 2nd to 50 or so...I have suddenly felt a huge drop on my all serps today... Site was stable since 3 months also giving me good results...all the things was prooffull no duplication nothin but still a sudden SERP lost is a fascinating...
i was dropped from the a loto f keywords on monday,.... no idea wtf is going on at google!!! they put all these MFA sites ranked higher than me FUCK
This is about the third thread started on this issue, it's something Google are doing, knocking the top 2-5 people out of the SERPs for specific keywords. Some of ours returned after a few days some not. New hits come and go everyday for me at the moment.
You are not the only one. My rankings have virtually dissapeared from 1 site. But I am slowly learning to live with it because I get traffic from other sources. But, still, its been cut in half.
Hi! Wait, my site has disappeared for around 4 days, then back. I did not any changes. Now I am waiting, maybe tomorrow my pages leave Google, but now I am getting traffic. I don't know what happen, maybe we need to wait for Matt, he got vacation... Best, Jakomo
It's comforting to see it's a common thing. The traffic from google SERPs almost completely disappeared for one of my sites 3 days ago - down to 1/5 of the normal search traffic - terrible! I've noticed that this site has compeltely disappeared from the SERPs for several keywords where it was in the top10, now it's nowhere to be found. Hopefully it will return soon.
same thing happened to me for almost all of my sites now about a month ago, it returned somewhat but not even close to half of what it was before
yea, i went from #1 to non-existent for one of my sites. i'll just give it a few weeks and see what comes of it all.
One good thing is that a lot of people that say they were affected like this actually came out with better rankings. Lets hope its the same with all of us.
I have had this happen several times over the past several months: 21 days in September 2006 (happened on the 30th) 7 days in December 2006 (happened on the 20th) ? days in January 2007 (happened on the 18th) The good thing is it looks like it is getting a quicker turn around in the SERPS as the months go on... I had no SERP reduction in October or November, though the first one in September, lasted until about the 20th of October.
I am seeing very weird results at this end. #1 for SEO Ireland is uk.yahoo.com which has just appeared out of nowhere....oh and is not relevant to SEO.
