Sudden Increased impressions and drop in ctr .. what to do?

don't worry guys,it's probably just a bug and as we all know from the past,everything came to normal in the end

 

I also found the same increase in impressions, and thought that it is due to increased traffic to my blog probably being recognized as blogs of note. But sadly that's not the case, as sitemeter and woopra show no increase in traffic.

 

but I think earnings also increased !!
will we get paid?

 

Increased impressions started yesterday for me too!

You are not in the boat alone.

Yesterday was a slightly lower traffic day, but near double, or 100% increase in impressions.

It may be coincidental, but yesterday and most of today are showing a much lower CTR. That's not good to see.

i had this same problem yesterday and this morning, but it has cleared up over the afternoon today. Hopefully tomorrow the stats are normal.

With a lower CTR, do you get less CPC from Google?

 

Nothing to worry about, if you are clearly clean from breaking any TOS.

Wish I had seen this thread earlier. I have been having the same problem too. I have been pouring over my logs and analytics trying to understand what's going on

Solid - But does that decrease CPC?

Back when I was only getting less than 100 views per day I got a lot higher CPC when I got a click.
