Sudden Increase in Traffic...

So I just placed AdSense on a site which receives a fair bit more traffic than my other sites which I already have AdSense on. This resulted in a rather significant increase in earnings -- looks to be something on the order of 20x more than usual by the end of the day today.

Would it be worth my while to contact Google and clue them in on this change? Or would that cause the undesired side effect of bringing myself some undue attention? Not that I have anything to worry about -- I'm following TOS to the best of my knowledge and everything I'm doing is on the level. I just really like what's going on right now and don't want it to blow up in my face.

I think it would be good to at least get it in writing that it's okay... Thing is, in my past exchanges with Google, they basically just said they'd do the contacting if anything was wrong.

    Anyone have any advice?

They'll know that you added adsense to a new site and I'm sure will look your site over, however if you are following the TOS I don't think it would hurt to let them know.

Finally got a response (if anyone's interested) and they pretty much said thanks and that everything was in order and cool. Nice to have it in writing. :)
