Sudden error with Joomla PHP, any help?

    Hi, I suddenly got this error today on the front page of my site:


    Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings.

    also in the admin

    Warning: Parameter 1 to JHTMLGrid::access() expected to be a reference, value given in /home/releasen/public_html/libraries/joomla/html/html.php on line 87

    Any ideas on what it is?

    If you cannot fix this quickly, turn error reporting in Global Config to 'none'.

    Below error reporting you will see:

    Location Settings
    Server Time Zone

    If you have done nothing and now you are showing warning, your host might have changed something on the server.

    You should be able to set the time to an absolute region i.e GMT
