Sudden Drop in Conversions

I've been advertising my a game server affiliate program with AdWords.

On Day 1, I got 27 clicks and 4 sign ups.
On Day 2, I got 41 clicks and 2 sign ups.
On Day 3, I got 5 clicks and 1 sign up.
For the next two days, I did no advertising because it was a weekend.
On Days 4 and 5, I got a little over 20 clicks each day and no sign ups.
So far today on Day 6, I've had 11 clicks and no sign ups.

My keywords have not changed and the landing page is of high quality. I know my affiliate code is working because it is tracking clicks.

Does anyone have any advice? I am disappointed about this and need help solving this problem.

    Thanks!

Well its time for a change in strategy. Look the data you have recieved in the past few days, i'm assuming you have Google Analytics as you posted this in the Adwords Forum. Check the site overlay for clues as to why your landing pages or forms are not getting many sign ups, etc.

Consider deleting keywords that are simply getting clicks but no conversions to save your budget.

I'm advertising an affiliate link so I don't control the website.

Statistically this is a normal - try to get data per weeks not days.

Try to using optimisation techniques to improve your campaigns also.

See if you have done everything to improve AdWords conversions and check your conversions.

And yes, the data you used to jump to conclusions is not enough. You may simply want to wait a week or two - see if you can improve the CTR for your targeted keywords, too.

I added some new keywords to my campaign and increased my bids on ads with bad positions last night and got 2 sign ups!

I guess one key is getting the right keywords.

You should make Your stats per month or even per 3 months. Adwords is about average stats and never but never should look at daily stats. Internet is not a fix program shop so You have to look at more "open days at your shop".
