Sudden drop in conversion rate, after redesign. Please Help!

    Hi,

    We are doing campaign in Google Adwords. Few days back, we re-designed our site. After Website re-Design, there is sudden decrease in the Conversion Rate from adwords.

    Before re-designing the website, we had very good conversion rate from Adwords, after website re-design, the conversion rate is dropped drastically.

    What is the reason for sudden drop in conversion rate? Please Help

    Maybe the new design doesn't interest others as much as the old one?

    No Spirit walkar, We incorporated the new design after usability testing. There is only sudden decrease in Conversion only in Google Adwords!... Please Help!!!

    You should split test the old design vs new design.

    If the old design is converting better, it's a no brainer - change it back!

    Indeed. Split test many thinks, such as button positions, colours etc. Continuous improvement!

    dont know what you're promoting or who your visitors are, but it seems that your new landing page is missing something your old one had,

    hard to tell without seeing the 2 side by side

    You should probably just change it back, but when you switched over did you change any ad positioning?

    Your new design may be better for usablility but perhaps layout, scheme and messaging are completely unattractive now.

    If you like, PM site details of old and new LP and I will give you some constructive criticism.

    At this point I would rule out that it is a Google Adwords problem, since the problem only existed as soon as your changed the new site.

    Conversion ratio is highly Dependant on landing page and messaging and very little on Google.
