Sucktember?

The whole month of december has been bad for me. It seems it getting worst as we approach the new year. Only last 2 days were good so i assume advertisers were targetting christmas holidays when people are typically at home with families and possibly surf. Now since the christmas is over, its again back to the "sucky" cpm.

anyone else agrees with this? Yesterday, US announced retail market indicators, they aint looking good. wonder whats in store for us.

Thats true. Some days were good and some were bad but more bad days this month.

 

The last few days have been record-low days for Adsense for me.. But, since my earnings are diversified, I'm still on-track to finish December with an all-time high (over $7,300) for overall earnings.

 

Christmas Break is killing me, I earned $16-$17 a day, Thursday and Friday before the break started, now I hope to even break $8 a day during the break. Christmas day I only earned $2.xx

 

Yeah making up in affiliates. Still it worries me.

You bet. Its lower than my nov earnings which were good. My best was july.

 

May was an AMAZING month for me. September was also really good. I've made more in the last three months, but there was a lot more work involved. May was a breeze through month with really good revenue. Things with AdSense started going downhill after August for me. Nothing major, but some sites that were making good revenue tanked. I'm putting aside two weeks in January to just sit and see what the hell went wrong.

It's an ongoing process with optimization. I'm on the computer hours per day just making sure optimization is always up to speed. It's getting kind of annoying . Major changes to my portfolio coming in February...!

Forgot to add Google pwned one of my sites in the last three days... traffic is down 60%! Working on that situation right now... I can get the traffic up, but not so much on the *targeted traffic* Google was sending me.

 

I really need to work harder next year. This year was just the start. I've learnt a lot. Time to put in all into practice

 

Nothing special same as last month with less traffic but that's just me anyway ....

its the worst today for me. 24 and 25th was great. 24th was the best thins month. but now it sux again. how about you?

 

The christmas days sucked for me, traffic was down as were my earnings. They're picking up again.

 

Earnings are up a tad-bit from the last 3 days, but still at least 50% lower than normal.

 

Really bad december, the worst month this year. Second worst month in the last two years.

Earnings dropped 70% with the same traffic.
