This raises a question in ma mind, if somehow a hacked ftp password is retrieved and the script is re installed will the listings come back??? or are they all saved in the databases???

If they did not do a back up (off the server) I assume the data is gone.

    Ouch!

I hope he has a backup and fix it soon because the effect can be much worse if SEs do not see what they are looking for.

I sent them an email and they just responded with a 'thanks for letting us know, and will get it back online soon'

I see the home page is back up with an "site down for maintenance" message. Links to internal pages are 404ing. Hope they did not loose all their data.

Seems I've heard there's a new take on an old game. Someone recently got some press for creating a password guessing program where he had around a 25% success rate with a sample of only 100,000 combinations.
