As all of us know, I ndia won ICC Twenty 20 Cricket world cup,all Indians are over joyed.Today Team India came back to India.It was raining heavily.But still the winning Heros came and sit in open bus and then thir victory march started from airport to Wankhede Stadium.In so much rains, thousands of Mumbai citizens waiting for the team and they are so eager to see winning heros. A great picture to store in our memories. Keep it up Team India.
If any national team won an international sporting trophy, the reception would be the same Probably it also has something to do with the fact that it is India's first World Cup win since 1983.
Actually I was kid when we won 1983 cup.But this crowd and such welcome will always be in my mind forever.This proves people don't hesitate to cheer for you when you do something great like this for your country. I wish national teams for other games should receive same warm welcome.
It was really a great view. I live just 15 minutes Drive from both International and Domestic Airports. The crowd near the highway was amazing.As Dhoni said, Mumbai is city never stops but they saw Mumbai stopped yesterday.
