Take a look at this list.

I was surprised at some of the people who didn't graduate. I guess the paved system isn't for everyone.

Cool, you should see if you can get added to that list:)

I might end up being a drop out, right now I'm in high school because my parents would most likely kick me out if I wasn't. As soon as I get my sites buzzing on the internet I won't have to worry about what I'll do after school. Apparently you don't need to know how to find the inverse of an angle to become a millionaire or invent something that changes the future.

    My advice: Get your diploma.

It's hard enough getting a real job even if you do have one.

Not everyone can become a millionaire on the internet. Depending on your assets, you can't always fall back on the internet. With a diploma or college degree, you can always fall back on something. It's like a plan B. And honestly, high school is a piece of cake compared to the real world. It's not that hard unless you have some kind of disability. All you have to do is study hard, do your homework/class work, and there ya go.

Yes, I agree with you about making Plan B. Some people forget to make a plan B when their main job fall down. But, my plan B is a little bit different with yours.
For example, you have earn much money from internet. You should use the money to some investment project. You can make a restaurant, buy a house, a land or whatever. But, keep doing the internet job. That is plan B for me. So you dont have to concentrate your mind in two different way, internet and education.

You have to keep in mind that investments don't always go as planned either. I'm an investor enthusiast myself, but investing is a gamble and a game of risks. But falling back on investments isn't a bad idea either, all I'm saying it's not a 100% guarantee that it's something you'll be able to fall back on.

If someone has what it takes to be successful without it, why sit thru years listening to some dumb teachers and be bored? Seems like a waste of time to me.

Okay, I think I found the point where we are different.
You said ".I'm an investor enthusiast myself, but investing is a gamble and a game of risks." So I can see that you are kinda person who needs everything with less risk and you play safe. I don't say it's wrong, my father is a doctor and he absolutely 100% think the same way with you. All I just want to say here that with a thought like that, you're not going to something higher. Because to move to another level of carrier, you need an instinct to take risks, positive mentality in facing failure, and many more.

For example, me, I wanna be like Bill Gates. It's my dream. And I do positively believe that I can be like him someday. To reach my dream I will do everything that it takes. I have to face all the risks to get there. The risks that you are afraid of. The risks that you avoid.

You are afraid to risks. You are afraid to succes.
That is our difference. In simple words. :)

    Interesting!

I swear, the mindset for success cannot always be learned.. plus why go to university if you don't enjoy what you're studying? Having a plan B is always safe, but it's all about taking risks ;)

 Neil Young dropped out of my high school! (Kelvin High School)

There are leaders in this world and they are followers. Being either one is ok. Just saying that people should get an education is often used by those who have no creative ideas or no real focus in life on their own. Those are the ones better off studying in college and working for someone else.

Seriously, I am sure that Matt Cutts for example worked hard on what he studied and it pays off for him. But Bill Gates didn't need to finish University for what he did.

And the REAL winners who come up with things followers will never be able to are often the ones who know how to follow the beat of their own drum.
