Selling Successful Magento Commercial Extension Business - $250,000

I started in 2010 developing custom commercial modules for Magento. I started by developing one Magento Module and now I have 18 modules for sale on my web site and Magento Connect store. I am a developer and not a marketer. All I did was put up a Magento web site and listed my modules and listed/linked them to Magento Connect. Zero marketing has been done (no articles, no press releases, no adwords, no expo's, etc.).

My company/site is a Magento Bronze Industry Partner. As of the past 1-2 months I've moved to developing directly for a client and don't have time to put into sales/marketing/etc. of these extensions. I can either sit here and collect my "rewards" for my hard work or I can sell my entire work for the past two years to someone who can take this to the next level.

The first month back in 2010 I sold $39.99 in my first month and grew ever since. In 2011 I had $28,000+ of sales and released 10 new modules. I have a good base of 18 modules and dedicated customers. Now I'm ready to pass it on to someone who can take this to the next level. Your expenses (none needed). All you need to do is have hosting space and we'll get you up and running. I did pay $2,500 for a Bronze Industry Level subscription with Magento which still has 10-11 months left until it needs renewal!

I am looking for $250,000.00. You can take over my MagentoConnect.com account/store in which I am a Bronze Industry Partner and I can transfer my Magento storefront onto your server/domain. I'll even help you switch out logo's, store name, or whatever you desire. You'll get 100% full rights to ALL 18 modules I have developed.

If for any reason you need updates, add more features, etc. to existing modules I'd be glad to help at $60/hour if we schedule work appropriately. All 18 current modules are turn key ready to sell and used by 100's of clients on their web sites already.

This is a great deal for someone, all it will take is some marketing and getting the right blogger/writer to write about one of your modules and watch the sales pour in!

First, I think you are way strong on the price. Can you provide income proof for the 2011 sales? Also, what is the url for the site?

I sure can. I can provide both Magento sales reports and my authorize.net merchant report along with the Paypal transaction/receipts. The reason the price is strong is because this is the real deal, a illegitimate business that I was able to get off the ground and become very profitable. A lot of hard work took place over 2 years developing these modules, debugging the modules, etc. Now we got a stout offering that someone can sit back and promote, try to get blogger reviews, advertise, etc. and make a good amount of money. That just not my game (advertising, promoting, etc.). I have many irons in the fire including app stores on iTunes, Android, etc. selling 100's of apps on those services.

I'm just tied for time and looking to see if anyone interested in taking over what I've started with these Magento Extensions. Price could be negotiable if I could retain some sort of royalty. I'm also more then willing to help the purchaser get rolling and show you how it all works (not much to it) if you are a greenhorn to the Magento/Developer business.
