Got a few signups with AFF but looking to get some serious feedback from those who are making good $$$/mo from AFF. $500/mo + feedback. Looking for ideas on placement, attracting leads, etc... Not looking for specific sites so don't worry there, more so ideas and thoughts on where traffic arrives via and banners vs adwords attraction..
I put there links in content and banners where users concentrate. In most cases that would be on top (under header) or on left site of content
Also greatly depends on what type of content pages you are placing the ads on. I'd recommend not placing aff ads on sites not related to aff content Alternatively if you can setup a few free thumbnail gallery pages and get them listed in gallery directories, and have your aff ads on those gallery pages you could generate nice traffic and clicks. **I've actually developed a handfull of sites JUST to generate traffic and click throughs to important other sites i own or to high paying affiliate programs life aff. If you can develop 5-10 easy attractive pages with different meta/seo in each, within different categories you can also do well. AFF also allows you to show different types of landing pages, the best converting for me in the past when I was using their system was the geo targeted gallery page. The best banners to use are also the geo targeted profile previews that are matched/blended with your site very well. Cheers and good luck to you. NC.
