Success with automatic blogs?

I read in a few forums that people are making good money making auto blogs. In case you dont know they are blogs that take content from rss feeds or scrape the content from another site. Does anyone have a success story on this?

 

Actually. I do. I had about 4 automated blogs that performed really well. I used to make about $1/day on auto-pilot from each of those blogs. Sold them for a low $xxx last year.

 

Really? Thanks for the tip. Any best practices for setting them up at all?

 

I honestly I do not think that auto blogs work anymore unless you know how to promote them properly.

 

I have one RSS feed blog but it doesn't convert very well compare to my personal blog.
And it have been deindexed by google many time coz it have duplicated content.

 

I think that most don't succeed with them - but there always a few exceptions.
