Success Is Killing My eCPM

I have a space heater section on my alternative heating website that gets a ton of traffic but has an abysmal Adsense CTR because it's a sales page. I understand that dynamic, but what concerns me is the poor CTR on this page affects the overall CTR, which in turn reduces the eCPM.

The sales page converts at 2% which isn't enough to compensate for the drop in eCPM. Would creating a sub domain for the space heater section help, or should I spin it off as a separate website? Also, I find it strange that the space heater page ranks as "no page rank available" despite the traffic and inbound links.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi

why do you care if your eCPM is lower? as long as you know why it is low it makes no difference.

my main site has a single page that gets about 3000 views per day and has a terrible CTR - so also brings down the CPM of the whole site. but that doesn't mean I earn less overall so I'm not worried - you can use adsense channels if you need to see the cpm for each section.

    cheers
