For too long, Movie and TV Show communities have relied on links to various sources. The classic Movie & TV community is predominantly filled with various kinds of advertising mediums including Zango, and other annoying between-page advertisements all of which goes towards the Site Administrators. Enough is enough. Subversio aims to change the Movie & Television community for the better and aim at tomorrow instead of today. Since the demise of Stage6, watching TV Shows and Movies online has become a chore. Sites like Tudou and Youku offer low quality and slow speeds. Subversio aims to actively benefit users who choose to look for Stage6 alternatives that are based more around Quality and Speed than practicality. Instead of posts containing links, we are looking to embed videos into posts. We are actively moderating all Movie & TV Show posts to ensure that users are posting working embed codes to videos from various sources. This not only prevents links to bad sources containing annoying advertisement mediums such as Zango, but this also allows us to promote actual threads to sources such as sidereel resulting in more potential Adsense revenue to the video posters. Our reward system works similar to that of Digital Point, we are an Adsense Revenue sharing community. We currently offer the controlling % of our Adsense units to our Movie & TV Show embedding users and the revenue earned by ourselves will go primarily to the promotion of the site. I urge you to take a look at our community and hopefully you’ll be interested in posting some Movies & TV Shows yourselves. We are working on a custom embed system using BB codes shortly, nothing exciting, but hopefully it’ll improve the Adsense Optimisation around the boards and increase the yield the embedding users receive. We're testing several different concepts right now and we'd love to expand from just adsense. I don't entirely feel satisfied with the current Adsense Revenue share system we have, nor the other free alternatives. It's more than likely we will result in drafting somebody in to build a custom system that fits our needs. We have been experiementing more with our custom BB codes, and we hope to create a custom thread form that will make embedding the movies a lot easier. Thanks for showing some interest
Keep me posted one how it develops. I have always thought that video space on my blog was worth a little more that Google pays, so I cut them out all together.
