Subscription vs adverts - affiliate policy Question

This is a new world, to me, so I'm learning as much as I can.

A question - I'm putting together an e-zine site that I'm currently planning to support through a combination of advertising and subscriptions. Will probably use affiliate programs to kick-start the advertising, and for specialty products that fit.

One incentive to get people to subscribe, of course, is to offer to drop the ads if they do so.

So, what are affiliates views on this sort of thing? Are they pretty much laissez-faire, or do they take exception?

    Thanks for any insights.

are u talking about including advertisements in the emails ? If yes, you might want to check with the advertisers if they are ok, with you doing this. Some Advertisers do not allow promoting links via email.

No, the ads would be in the article pages (and nav pages) themselves.
If a user subscribes (pays $$), the ads don't appear (for that user).
