It should be instant/automatic unless it was done via an eCheck (PayPal doesn't post payment for a few days with those). What was the transaction ID?
I believe that just means it was funded by a bank transfer (which takes a couple days) rather than PayPal balance or credit card.
You do realize it's 7am on Christmas Day, right? If you feel like you need to create a dispute because something work-related isn't happening fast enough on Christmas morning, I guess so be it. Not even sure if we would be able to get to a live person at PayPal at this hour, which is what would be required to track down the missing IPN notification.
I just checked within PayPal, and on PayPal's side it shows the payment is not complete. It shows "Pending Until Dec 30, 2013". Do you show something different within your PayPal account when you look at the transaction?
Odd because for me it shows payment has sent whilst money is missing from my account. As per Christmas, my apologies as we do live in different time zones
Hmmm... Not sure to be honest. I'm not in front of a computer at the moment, but I'll post a screenshot later when I am. It definitely showed as "Pending until Dec 30" on the main payment history. Not really sure the details of eCheck payments, but I know it varies and is based on "business days"... And not sure what PayPal considers business days this time of year.
It's the first echeque i sent. No idea why it did not send funds direct from the account or my card. Silly paypal.
