Subscription checkbox on quick reply

    Hi,

I think it's easier for us to manage subscription if there is an option or checkbox below the quick replay on each post, so we can choose to subscribe or not on our reply.

    Thanks

Ya, that works but I agree with the original poster...

I have it set to subscribe to all threads I post in and in most cases that's what I want but there are some that I'd rather not, like in the buy sell trade section when I respond to a seller - I really don't want to be subscribed most of the time so an option to uncheck the subscribe box while you're posting would be a nice feature.

But I guess no one would consider going to userCP again and again and subscribing and unsubscribing...;)

Go to the user cp, on the left click on list subscriptions. When the list appears, click on the checkbox on the far right to select all. Go to the bottom of the page to the dropdown menu and you'll have the option to delete subscriptions (among other things)

TADA! ya, I know that (just found that out the other day! lol)

I'm not saying it should be the top of Shawn's priority list but if it were simple I think it would be a nice extra feature to have what the OP suggested.

I think the problem with something like that is it kind of starts making the quick reply pointless. If you start adding all the options that a normal reply has, then it's no longer a quick reply...

    thanks for stopping by digitalpoint,
it's only my opinion that the current option on quick reply, the only one option 'Quote message in reply?' which seem always disabled for me was useless and I propose to change it to subscription checkbox if you want to change it some day.
once again it's only my opinion, the section of this forum was sugesstion isn't it?

Scroll down after selecting all(or whichever you wanna unsubscribe) threads in subscriptions on left navigation.

There's option at bottom and click delete.
