Subscribed thread "stuck"

I posted in a thread titled "Is Adsense Dead as a money maker". I was automatically subscribed to the thread. This thread was then later moved and merged with a thread called " The Death of Adsense!".

The problem is that for some reason the first thread is now a permanent feature in the "new subscribed threads" section of my User CP. I've visited the thread, tried to unsubscribe multiple times, but it remains there as if there is a new post to the thread. It just doesn't want to unsubscribe me.

Is there a way I can get rid of it? Or am I forever cursed to keep looking at it?

What's the thread ID for the one it's showing?

Are you sure it shows under subscribed threads? I checked on the backend database, and there's no record of your user account being subscribed to that thread ID. Is it possible your browser is showing an old cached version of the page?

No, I don't think that would be the cause. I've cleared my cache, refreshed the page and even tried on another PC and it's still there.

That's a different thread. What's the thread ID of that one if you hover over the link?

Looks like a bug in vBulletin which I reported, so should be fixed in 3.6.2, but for now I did it manually for you.

Thank you very much Shawn. You are the greatest! I could have lived with it, but strangely things like that tend to irritate me. :)
