Hey Guys, I was just wondering, how would it work if you submit your article to ezine for example and still have it on your blog. Is that bad? Thanks, Nick
Nick, you seem pretty smart, really. I saw that in a recent Ezine Articles Post and could not believe they were pushing as being so great. I wished they had looked at both sides. The answer depends upon (1) who submitted the article, and (2) where did it appear first. Since you are in both cases the submitter, you are setting yourself up for a duplicate content slap. I am assuming that you site does not have a Google Page Rank of 6. So this is the way to win. Never ever, take your content and then personally place an exact copy anywhere. I am going to make another assumption that the article was hand written with a researched keyword phrase. First take your article and submit it to Ezine Articles. Using their power and with proper research, your article can in 24 to 48 hours appear on the 1st page of Google for your keyword search phrase. Now after it is approved, put it on your blog, after it has been completely rewritten. Try a different headline, starting with a new keyword phrase of 3 to 5 words. This way your get no penalties, just rewards. With a Google placement on a keyword phrase that has 1,500 monthly visitors, 300 to 400 will read your article in 30 days, then taper off. 35 will then visit your site. With 35 how many will convert to buy? Plus your new blog post might get another 25. Use Ezine for their strength in Google placement. BUT DO NOT USE THE PLUGIN 2. With enough complaints, you may see a change. This kind of plug in is not even good at one for an article directory. Rewrite is the only answer, then EZA 1st, your blog 2nd. Both then get rewarded. I am glad you opened your eyes and ears before you leaped.
