were you decined and they kept your money

    was it a smooth transaction?

    was the backlink worth it?

Many have joined, it is value if you cannot get better value, for spending that amount many people would prefer to get a number of good listings on quality directories for spending nearly 300 dollars.

You could get maybe 5,6 or 7 good directory links for that amount of money and you would probably find PR5, PR6 & PR7 submittals within that price range

Yahoo is value, but to some it might not be affordable

That is only an opinion but we prefer a spread of links on different sites :)

If your willing to wait about a year you can get added completely free, if they see a site as good enough quality, i was quite suprised and had just submitted and forgotten about it.

The only bad thing about yahoo is that they use the directory title for their SERPs and a some people have said that this has hurt their rankings

I submitted 1 travel site about 3 months ago, for $299. It was accepted within 1 week. They didn't submit to the 2 categories I suggested (Which I chose for a good match, and high PR), instead creating a new category with 0 PR. Even after the last GUpdate it's still PR0.
In the 3 months, I think I've had 1 visitor from this link.
Worth $299? No way for now.. maybe if it ever gets some pagerank.
    Martin.
