submitting to WHICH directories?

    hello,

I'm working on growing a new premier financial trading related website. it has forums, blogs, chart labs, journals, etc. all of it is unique content. it's only a month old. some of its pages are already indexed in google, yahoo, alltheweb, and altavista. I have 3 questions for you in the know:

    1) out of 120+ links in the sitemap, google only listed about 25 so far. what's more, they are not even pages with the "best" content. for example, I have 4 threads with unique articles I wrote (quite long) and they have not been indexed yet. is this normal?

    2) can you suggest any other general or trading realted directory I should submit the site to? or any other tip on how to start building some incoming links?

    3) how does this reciprocal link directories work? doesn't google offset PR between site exchanging their links?

    thanks in advance

This might help with your indexing of pages if you haven't implemented it yet:

I believe this information is from "Jayde listing notes" which is an excellent weekly informational resource.

    1) It's normal, do what you would normally do and things will go ok.

    2) You can start by submitting to general directories also. Write some articles and distribute them, you can do it for free or quite cheap. Buy some blog articles from the buy sell section of DP. Look into the LinkSales section of DP you can find some real bargains there.

    3) I stayed away from reciprocal links for years now. They probably don't hurt but they don't help either. That "probably" made me to stay away from them.
