Is it ok to submit to social bookmarking sites when you only have a splash page up?

My main site will not be up for a little while. ?

No use, it won't be voted on. No one cares about a splash page, unless it's extremely cool

It's more effective if you only social bookmark when you have an article up, then people will have interest in possibly re-visit your site. If you just submit it now.. with a splash page, you might lose potential returning visitors.

Thanks for the input, can you recommend an article writer?

I've worked with a very nice woman, named Beverly (Bei, for short), from GetaFreelancer.com before. She wrote some GREAT articles for me as a base for one of my projects. They were VERY well researched and well written.

To contact her, just sign up for GetaFreelancer and submit a project directed to her (Project for BEIMANIAGO: .......)- she gets a lot of private projects like this, so she will find it and respond. She only charges $5 per article and is certainly well worth it. :)

    Regards,

    Christy
