Submitting to search engines creates spam?

    i have noticed that using any of the so called 'free' search engine submission tools gives you heaps of spam, would be a good experiment for someone to try using a temp email address....

    anyone else experience this?

    These tools are a waste of time anyway. Just get some quality back links and the search engines will find your site on their own. To speed up this process, get links from frequently updated sites or sites with high PR.

    most people who submit to directories use temp emails anyhow
