Submitting to directories Who are not Indexed in google is wasting of time. Because there are not give you to increase your PR. But if Your site have good Pr so directories gain good Ranking..

You are wrong, it is not wasting of time. Those directories will be indexed some time and they will get some kind of pr.
These days every little help is needed so why wouldn't someone submit to that kind of directories?

I will often avoid directories with no PR. But if its a nice looking directory i will submit anyways. As Angelus said, they may get indexed in future. Plus they may already be getting indexed by Yahoo.

Well i would submit anyway, mainly because the more links the better because the directories will get indexed by Google and other seach engines anyway. Theres no harm in submitting.

Have you ever heard of Googlebowling? If large amount of BadNeighboughrs are attached to your sites your site might be marked as link manipulator.

This "jezza chan" should learn to read definetly.

Seems like a very common sense approach, directories with a good PR have a value, but new directories have to start somewhere so they have a place somewhere in the directories market matrix, as they will hopefully, all develop a value if they are marketed and promoted properly

    HI

All new directories need to start some where...

And submitting your link to a directory with a PR of 0 means nothing..

You never know that PR 0 link directory may be a PR 3-5 in the next google pr update.

Look at my directory,,,,, PR 2 now but will be a PR 5-6 in the next update..

We have an alexa rank of 67,000

And right now a PR of 2 but perdicted PR 5 min...

And we are offering free submissions..

I can tell you once we hit PR 5 we will not be free.

    Keep An Eye On LinkDirectory.com

You can add you site now for free no link back needed...

    Thanks

That's a great point, I think. I think, I will agree. This is not a quality battle, like in affiliate marketing.

i totally agree with the idea of submitting to new directories, coz you never know.. you might end up having a link in a PR 6 site

Exactly and its possible that when that directory was a PR0 the submission was free. Not many directories will offer you a free PR6 link.

    ezimedia statement exactly proves that:

Paid links are for only 3 months.

    pfft....silly

I submit to lots of directories and enjoy paying once to be in there. Having to repay every 3 months is lame IMO

It is not wasting time. I have seen many times, PR0 jumps to PR5 in the next update. We just do not know Who Google will choose. :)

Directory submission is worth if if you want/need links, but getting listed in every single directory can be a waste of time and money. There are definately diminishing returns.
