Hello Friend, According to my view given some free article directories below : prolinkdirectory.com site-reference.com tmcnet.com EzineArticles.com GoArticles.com highwire.stanford.edu about.com pubs.acs.org webpronews.com articlesbase.com buzzle.com articledashboard.com helium.com articlesnatch.com articlealley.com amazines.com searchwarp.com
I personally feel that as long as the original article is your own and published by one directory, what harm in other directories publishing it, as we see same news in almost all newspapers.
I would only use the top article directories, possibly paid press distribution, few of these are better than the many others. Most top article directories and press distribution will replicate your content to many other websites without further efforts. It takes a lot of work to submit to these article directories and some of them are not worth the effort, selection needed.
a lot of people still claim this isn't true - usually they point to Matt Cutt's blog where he says 'there is no penalty' in a girly voice. What he DOESN'T say is that just because you don't officially call it a 'penalty' doesn't mean that the effect won't feel like being penalized. The simple fact is that duplicate content is WORTHLESS nowadays. Let me try and help you understand why. You and I walk into the McDonalds where Matt Cutts used to work. I have a $10 bill, you have a color photocopy of a $10 bill, high quality, printed both sides. I order a burger, pay, and walk out. You order a burger, try to pay, spend the rest of the year trying to explain to the Police what you thought you were doing. You've been 'penalized'. My $10 has value.your photocopy of it doesn't. In fact, it can even get you in trouble. Clear?
i've tried this method and while it works for a very short time, there is a huge drop off over the length of your submissions, so just be aware of that
If you submit the same article to 50 directories, it is not spam, you may still get backlinks, but you will not get the full credit from google as you would if all 50 articles were unique.
Take the article that you have and spin (reword) it 10 different times. Carefully spell checking each time. Now that you have 10 fresh articles, pick only the ten best directories and submit to them. This will give you much more bang for your buck than subbing the same art to 50 sites. Good luck.
I have tried to submit single article to multiple directories many times with different techniques but it did not worked for me. Whenever I submitted single article to multiple directories, the rank of my website went down. I keep myself way from this as I feel it is better to have top page ranking in SERP with few links than poor ranking with thousands of links.
I do not encourage you to submit your article to number of article directory. i suggest you to try ezinearticles which really help you a lot.
