Hi there, I have couple of questions on the article submissions. 1. Does it worth to submit the same article in the 500 high PR articles directories and on average how many directories out of 500 actually accepts the article. 2. It does not seems to be possible to make 500 versions of an article to submit in the 500 article directories. So if we submit the same article in the 500 different places then how search engies treat that article and seconldy is there any negative effect on the backlinks due to the same article in the 500 different places. I will be really thankful for any help. Best Regards KB
I've read conflicting thoughts on this topic. I tend to think it's best to send your articles to the top article directories (EZINE, Article Dashboard, Go Articles). Reword the articles and titles for maximum benefit. I have also done the mass distribution method, but I'm afraid most of them end up in the supplemental index. I haven't done any critical research outside of seeing what folks on DP have had success with. I think a mix of strategies might be best. Cover all aspects. Most agree it's best if you post the articles on your site first, so you become the expert site. Good luck.
1. No it does not worth it. Just submit to the top articles site will do the trick. I just submit to ezinearticles and so far getting more traffic than submitting to 5 article directories. 2. Not clear about this one.
Hi there, My question is still unresolved. I want to submit the same unique article in the 500 article directories but how to make the different versions of the article for every article directory. If we submit the same article in all the directories then the article might be burried in the Google's supplemental index and the result of it is no indexing of the article, no backlinks and no traffic. I will be really thankful if anyone can help me solving this problem. Best Regards KB
Just rewrite all the articles 500 times then . IMO It's better to submit all the rewritten 500 articles to ezinearticles rather than 500 sites.
KB- That's correct. As the previous poster pointed out, Ezines is the main place to submit. Duplication across 500 article sites is not recommended. If you have multiple versions, then submit to Ezines first...then stagger other submissions.
These days I've been focusing my efforts on submitting unique copies of an article to the main article directories (aka the ones where I actually get traffic). But I have a free article rewriting service that makes rewriting articles easier, to avoid duplicate content. I haven't focused on submitting to hundreds of directories in a while, but with my unique copies of my articles I just might.
Yes, whatever you do make sure you submit your article to Ezine - it's the best directory out there..
I've tested this multiple times, its actually very easy to test. Use isnare.com and distribute an article. Next, use an article spinner and spin an article properly (this should take an hour or so to make variations for every sentence in the article and many of the words). Make sure the article has something that stays the same that you can search by, maybe a unique sentence in the resource box. Now distribute 1 spun version of the article to each of 500 directories (Jetsubmitter does this automatically, there's a 3 day $1 trial if you want to test it). Wait 30 days. Search for a random sentence from article 1 in quotes within the article in Google (NOT THE TITLE, the title will show links to the article in article directories - big mistake most people do). Check out many results you get. I bet less then 5, all my results have shown this. Next, Search for the unique sentence from the spun article in quotes in Google. Check results. You may not see all 500 (likely not) but I've ALWAYS seen greater indexed versions with this method then without spinning. Proving that while it may not be perfect, it is better then doing nothing. Test for yourself, Test Don't Guess
It's unnatural and very easy for Google to detect. So I think even if you don't get penalized for this, you won't have excellent results as expected.
I would have to say submit only to the major article places. I signed up for a article submission place and it did good but I didnt really get the traffic I was looking for. I got more traffic when I submitted my article by hand to only 5 places then I did 500 places. I also thought it would help my sites rank well in google submitting 1 article out all over the place but it didnt.
submit artilces to the best ones, not all here is a list of TOP 40 article directories which I post to: http://totalaffiliates.com/top-40-article-directories.html
make the effort to make the article unique each time you submit it. That way, the search engines wont use the duplicate content filter on it, and you will get 'max bangs per buck'.
The easiest way to rewrite 1 article 500 times would be to use an excel/open office spreadsheet rewriter that a guy names Chris created. I've got his link, but you're gonna have to go thru my website to get it. No sign up or anything, just a little traffic-luv, please. http://articlewritingnews.com/a-free-article-rewriter-i-actually-like/
for mass submitting your articles to article directories, try not to submit same version of articles or search engine will see as a duplicate content, try to spin your articles....
If im not mistaken, this would result to the issue of duplicate content. Better read this and you'll be surprised how Google and duplicate content works. www dot spottedpanda dot com/2011/seo-news/confirmed-seo-facts-matt-cutts/
Submitting the same article in 500 directories is not encouraged, as Google has said it will be penalising duplicate content via the Panda Algorithm, Google wants unique articles, it's best to give them what they want
