Lets say i have a domain name called qwert.com and a subdomain to that domain name.

    subdomain.qwert.com

is it ok to submit this to a directory?

or lets say i have a URL llike this:

    qwert.com/my_other_site

is this ok to submit this?

this must sound really stupid but i´m a beginner....be nice to me :)

You can normally add a subdomain but not a trailing page.

Like subdomain.qwert.com is ok and qwert.com/my_other_site is not unless they offer deeplinking.

Hope this helps and not a dumb question at all !

A few directories offer deeplinking...we will be offering a deeplink option in our directories shortly.

It depends on the directory you are submitting to ...
Some allow to submit deep links some don't.
Another option for you is to submit to sites that offers extra "Deep Links" (along with the main domain). So you can submit your domain as well as subpage that will appear on your detail page.

Here is an example of what I am saying.

I see nothing wrong with submitting a subdomain to a directory. It's kinda like a different website, isn't it? It's always ok for a deeplink directory. When it gets right down to it, all directories are different. Read the guidelines before submitting and you shouldn't run into any problems. ;)

I agree. Even directories without deep links should allow this. But yeah, you should always read guidelines.
