Submitting Sub-domains to Directories

Hi, i've just finished submitting my site to most of the major directories. I have a bands section on my site and it's located in a band folder. I'm new to all this directory stuff and suddenly thought to myself that the bands section is a directory itself. Would it be wise to make a sub domain bands.domain.com and then submit that to the major directories once more or would it be ok to submit it how it currently is.

Also then could i go on and do the same with my forum and have forum.domain.com and submit that to the major directories too.

    Appreciate your feedback.

Look out for lists of directories that accept subdomains and subfolders. There are a few out there, but it's not the majority. Most have rules about not accepting multiple pages from the same site, and if you go out and make subdomains in order to get more pages listed, it will be seen as spammy and may lead to a higher percentage of rejections.

A lot of paid directories will accept any pages on a domain, so long as you pay for the privilege. But for free directories, accepting more than the root domain is tantamount to opening the floodgates for spam.

I have a main site and a forum that is in a forum folder, I often struggle getting the forum listed because it is in a sub directory. It can be a pain in the Butt.

If it looks like a seperate domain then its good to submit, but lets see what the editors think about this.
