submitting sitemap

    how do you submit a sitemap to google? i submitted the feed and they said there was an error on it, my RSS feed. does google make its own sitemap for the site?

    It sounds like your submitted your sitemap correctly to google, but there was an error in the RSS file? As Google should accept RSS files with no problem, perhaps you could let us know what the error was? Would be easier to help you then!

    I submitted sitemaps to google yahoo and live with not much look in getting them indexed.

    ive submitted loads of sitemaps to live and have never been indexed, its a waste of time.

    I submitted the RSS 2 feed and it worked for me.

    But as google says you can just create a plain txt file with a list of your urls each in new line and submit it. It does not sound difficult.

    Try out google webmaster tool. About RSS feed i will always used free.
