I am relaunching a music software site (http://www.sonicspot.com) and will have several RSS feeds associated with the new site. I want to submit these to the appropriate directories in the appropriate way. Any tips on directories worth submitting to? Any tips on how to best go about it? Any potential impact on general site SEO from doing it badly / well? Any recommended or not recommended services that do this kind of thing for webmasters? Thanks.
We recently completed an RSS feed system for WoW Directory submissions. The RSS feed submissions are in a trial at this time and can be submitted just like a website. I’m finding some RSS Feeds with unique high quality content and I’m sure you will see many directories accepting them in the near future.
I used http://pingomatic.com which submits your feed to several sites. I'm not sure if they're directories.
