Submitting Link to bookmarking sites-Still no relevant link boost up Shown in Report?

    Hello ALL here!!

    I have developed a Website- CEMENTPEDIA.. As you will seem this site is relatively different since caters to specific niche!!

    To improve ranking I have tried submitting links on many forums and social bookmarking sites..But only few relevant backlinks are being created and shown in the report in which not a single one of them is from bookmarking sites...

    Is it the niche of my site or bookmarking sites don't help you give relevant backlinks boost?????

    What forums and social bookmarking sites did you use? "Nofollow" forums are not counted. Make sure these forums are "dofollow".

    Social Bookmarking has been heavily devalued by the search engines. It can get your pages indexed but wont help much in rankings. Time would be better spent doing some other link building activities

    it's because you cannot rely alone with those type of links. Try to have variations of links coming from different sites such as articles, blogs, etc.

    bookmarking helps to get your site indexed and have variety link. Not to rank better.Is not empty work. Every link is good

    Just book marking doesn't help you in getting rank higher. Its the number of book marks which you receive from different people counts here. Work on writing or developing something which attracts people. I can see that website lags quality content (and i feel design too not upto the mark). Work on watch search engines loves the most not just for instant results

    I still use social bookmarking sites to get my pages indexed quickly. But that's about it.

    Social bookmarking is a waste of time IMO. I don't understand the fascination with 'quick-indexing' you can do this very easily without SB links.

    Is not a waste of time. I use a tool called OnlyWire that summits your url to 50 SB. All you need to do is to create a acount with every SB. And this helps you get variety of links and Food for Crawlers.
