it may be true, but with the big 3 search engines you already have close to around say 85% or more depending on market? why pay for the 99,997

Better spend this money on creating fresh content or acquiring some linx and just wait for people to find you naturally. Even if it is not a scam, you will just waste your money and it will do you no good.

There's loads of services like that. Can you name 100,000 search engines? I can't. Think they're worth the paper/screen they're written on? I don't.

Yes, I agree. It's better to spend the money on usefull target market. Why do we need thousand of SE while we did not get lots of traffic from them?

Huge numbers don't play a great role...Submitting to Yahoo and DMOZ will be enough...

Seriously? Like others said this is a big, fat SCAM! I don't even think there are 100,000 search engines in beta, let alone live and on the market. We all know the big three account for over 90% so why would you even consider spending any money on any other search engine? Don't waste your money= a lot of these "SEO services" in this section claim to do wondrous things for your site, but in reality all your doing is wasting your money and potentially harming your website.

All you need is Google, Yahoo and Live :) They receive 99% of the traffic.
I wouldn't even care to look around for other search engines.

Im sorry --- I may have misread their article --- I thought it said it will basically list you in 100,000+ directories and get all these backlinks

Submitting to 100,000+ directories for just $50 sounds unrealistic to me

No need to be on so many SEs. I think on top 20 SEs if your site has presence on higher PR thats sufficient in my opinion.

    100,000 search engines.... lol

if even half of them have a decent pr.... you would jump up to PR8 just for being listed on all of them ....

This is some funny stuff. You should just stick to the top search engines available. Yahoo, google, altavista, MSN, all the big boys. You're not going to get backlinks from this anyway, you're just going to get indexed by these so called 100,000 search engines and appear in the results. Which is pointless really as stated before, the big boys are simply too big for any other search engines to be competitive.
