Submitting Designs via PM's (should it be allowed?)

    When a contest holder starts a new design contest, why do some designers submit their concepts via PM and not in the actual thread?
    It comes across as being sneaky or trying to get personal with the CH! ALL work should be submitted to the thread so the rest of the designers can compete fairly...

    ... don't you agree?

    They can submit their designs in any way they please. They don't have to submit publicly just so you know what you're competing against. Most contests in the "real world" don't allow you to view all of the other submissions just to try to best them.
